My name is Roman Polacek, and I am a curious Graphic Designer with a combined experience of over 5 years in both freelance and in-house design. I am experienced but not limited to, visual identities, designing marketing materials for both print and digital, Photography, 3D mock-ups & animations.
My life as a designer is an ongoing journey where everything changes, adapts and evolves. I love learning and working on new projects as it develops my skills and gives me new experiences that help me deliver better strategies and design solutions.
how did it come to be
About me
Originally from the picturesque Orava region in Slovakia, I started to learn Graphic Design and software skills during high school for small competitions. My time in the UK not only improved my design skills, but also provided me with valuable cultural enrichment and networking opportunities, as well as improving my English. As a versatile graphic designer with over 5 years of experience, I worked on various successful projects with small to mid-sized European clients, in-house B2B & B2C, and as a freelancer. Every client and brief brings new challenges, requiring to use a range of different skills and learn new ones, enabling me to solve client’s problems effectively. I am currently based in the EU and looking for new work opportunities to to continue growing and create something special together.
